Steering Committee
Provides leadership and serves as oversight body for the Wisconsin Cancer Council and implementation of the State Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan. Advocates for and support of the plan's implementation. Ensures that cross-cutting issues are addressed throughout implementation process. Selects top data-driven or evidence-based priorities for action. Reviews and approves implementation strategies and action plans from implementation work groups. Appoints and oversee operational committees (policy/advocacy, nominating, membership, etc.) and implementation committees as needed. Read more

Public Policy Committee
Provides leadership on implementation of policy recommendations within the State Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan and consults on public policy issues for the WCC Steering Committee. Develops and recommends an advocacy agenda to the Council. Oversees implementation of advocacy projects. Read more

Membership Committee
Responsible for recommending dues and membership structures and planning and conducting a new member campaign in 2007 with a goal to expand and diversify membership. Suggestions for membership and/or applications are welcome at any time. Read more

Nominating Committee
Responsible for recommending Steering Committee leadership (Chair, Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect) and Steering Committee membership to general membership of Wisconsin Cancer Council. Ratification of Ballot is conducted annually. Read more

Award Committee
Responsible for developing an awards structure to recognize outstanding contributions to cancer control in Wisconsin. Conducts annual awards nomination process. Read more
